Who Can Join?
This league is full of fun and friendly people willing and ready to welcome new curlers into their group. Talk to your family, friends, golf team, co-workers, or anyone else you think might be open to a fun evening. This league is open, meaning that teams can be made up of any configuation of genders. Unlike Mixed, Men's, and Ladies Leagues - which have specific gender requirements - this is open to anyone! All teams in the league currently are made up of people 18 years and older - making adults the best fit.

How Much?
All payments for the Electrical League will be made through Dwight Hunter. The exact amount is not yet set, as it will be dependant on the number of games played throughout the season. Typically the cost works out somewhere in the ballpark of $20/person/game. For more information about the cost, please reach out to Dwight directly or check back in for more updated payment information towards the start of the season.
Your league fees also include a December banquet, a March banquet, and prizes throughout the season.
What do I Need to Bring?
Yourself and a team!
If you have curling equipment, please bring that along. If you do not have curling equipment, that is not a dealbreaker!
The Avonair has grippers, sliders, stabilizers, and brooms available to anyone who needs them.
Otherwise, all players are responsible for bringing clean, indoor shoes and appropriate clothing (loose, stretchy pants and layers). Helmets are not required, but participants are encouraged to consider helmet use if not completely comfortable on the ice.
Please note: Clean shoes are mandatory. It is extremely important that shoes worn outside in the snow, water, and gravel not come on to our curling ice. If a participant comes to the event with inappropriate shoes, they will not be permitted to participate on the ice.
